Why Destination INDIA:

Describing INDIA briefly, this land is triangular:

  • The top is formed by the greatest Mountain Himalayas. Here one will find intriguing Tibetan region of Ladak and the astonishingly spectacular Himalayan regions of Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, the Garwhal of Uttar Pradesh and the Darjeeling & Sikkim regions.

  • South of the Himalayas is the flat Ganges basin with the multicolour and comparatively effluent Punjab to the Northwest, the capital city of New Delhi and important Tourist attraction like Agra with TAJ MAHAL, Khujuraho, Varanasi and the holy river Ganga. This plain reaches the sea at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal.

  • South of the Northern plain is the Deccan plateau. Here one can find the cities that tell stories of the rise and fall of the Hindu & Muslim kingdoms. This area also contains the modern metropolis of success which the British built at Mumbai. Indias tale is one of many different kingdoms competing with each other and this is never clearer than in the places like Bijapur, Golconda and other centres of central India.

  • Finally, there is a steamy South where the Muslim influence was evanescent. Hinduism in South was least metamorphosed by the external influence and its at its most exuberant. The temple towns of the South are quite unlike those of the North and superbly enlivening.

Basically, INDIA is what you make of it and what you want from it. If you want temples there are temples in perfusion and with enough styles and types to confuse anybody. If it is history, India has plenty of it. The Forts, battle fields, ruins, abandoned cities and monuments are having their own tales to narrate. If you wish to lie on the beach there are enough of those to satisfy. If walking and open air is your liking, then head for the trekking routes of the Himalayas; some of them are really wild and deserted as one could ask for. One simply wants to experience the real India it will come to face to face all the times - on Indian trains and buses. Getting there may not always be half of the fun but it is certainly GREAT EXPERIENCE...

A visit to INDIA is just not a place to simply and clinically see. INDIA is an out and out experience; it is an assault on all the senses, a place to cherish forever.
